Marc Brooks

President & CEO


Hyde Park Hospitality represents the culmination of Marc’s more than 20 years of experience, drawing on his food background, business acumen and personal passions.

An entrepreneur to his core, Marc Brooks grew up in the food business alongside a father who he describes as a “visionary with heart who made every employee feel comfortable, valued and heard.” Besides his father’s management style, Marc also inherited a passion for quality and a commitment to moving ideas forward—whether it be on his own business’s behalf or that of clients, partners or the greater urban community. “I’ve developed an ability to efficiently and successfully take a project from the ideation phase to implementation,” he says. “I attribute this to several key things: having a vision, working hard and hiring exceptional people.”

Hyde Park Hospitality partners with Aramark Corporation on the Chicago Public Schools account. Our strategic alliance brings value to the end client and adds depth to what we can offer. Aramark has a proven track record as a national food, facilities and uniform services provider to clients in fields including education, healthcare, business, corrections and leisure. HPH’s long history of operating in Chicago, combined with our extensive business and political ties and connections with women- and minority-owned suppliers and distributors,  and a nimbleness that allows us to seamlessly integrate onto a client’s team. As partners, we provide a stronger network, offer a broader range of products and services and remain on the cutting edge of food and facility services management.

In 2018 we purchased six World Bean coffee locations from OTG. 

This OTG-branded concept is situated in Newark’s Liberty International Airport United Airlines terminal. OTG is an airport concessions company that operates more than 300 restaurants and retail concepts in 12 airports across North America. In 2016 and 2014, it was ranked among the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company magazine.

We are a partner with High Flying Foods in the Artisan Market concept at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and the New Belgium Brewing Sports Bar at Denver International Airport. High Flying Foods is a West Coast-based boutique, family-owned and -operated company that is making waves in the airport concessions industry. With a strong presence in five U.S. airports, including more than 20 restaurant locations, High Flying Foods prides itself on execution and finding the most iconic local brands and celebrated chefs in the industry.

We are a partner with HMS Host at the Los Angeles International Airport.

We help operate eight units in United Airlines Terminals 7 and 8, with restaurant brands including The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (two); BLD Breakfast Lunch Dinner; Loteria; Rolling Stone; The Counter Burger; Carry On; and Panda Express.

HMS Host is part of Autogrill S.p.A.– the world’s largest provider of food and beverage services for travelers. Autogrill has a presence in more than 120 airports, employs 41,000 associates and achieves more than $3 billion in sales.
