Lunch with a Leader feat. Tim Hardaway
HPH was proud to partner with The Support Group for their 10th annual Lunch with a Leader in February as a part of Black History Month. Over 400 Chicago Public School students attended the luncheon to learn about college and careers. It was a wonderful afternoon with leaders from all sectors of Chicago, pouring into the students, including Mayor Brandon Johnson. The HPH table was represented by Angila Faison, Director of Community Engagement, who spoke to students about careers in food and facilities services management.
Founded by NBA Hall A Fame, Tim Hardaway and his cousin, Bennie Henry, The Support Group has provided a safe learning, sports, and career exploration environment for the youth of Chicago for the past 33 years.
