Airport Concessions

Hyde Park Hospitality can bring a mix of exciting brand concepts, managerial staffing and sound business management practices to airports across the country. Whether licensing a regional brand, running an airport lounge or staffing a retail concept, our services are ready to be tailored and deployed to any of the many markets we’re certified in.

Today, we perform food and beverage management functions and operate concessions concepts at five of the top 15 U.S. airports, including
Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and Denver International Airport. 

Additionally, we staff and help oversee operations at 10 airport lounges.
HPH’s work in this segment involved transitioning more than a hundred workers, coupled with identifying potential new hires in novel markets. Developing staff, delivering frontline recommendations to increase sales and providing exceptional customer service are key attributes we focus on every day.

Food and Facilities Service Management

 

Hyde Park Hospitality brings both experience and expertise to every level of service. We understand that consistency is key and that quality—in people, in ingredients, in systems and in execution—is everything. We know that the right approach to hospitality can reinforce a brand, elevate an event and provide an optimal guest experience that reflects well on our clients. We can work with clients on a consultative basis or roll up our sleeves and manage key aspects of their operations.

A core strength of HPH is identifying talent—from Food Service Directors to Engineers to Custodial Managers— and matching them with the appropriate project. We have deep connections in the community and are committed to creating opportunities for women and minorities and helping our partners build a professional, diverse workforce.

Today, 50 HPH managers oversee 150 Chicago Public School (CPS) buildings totaling more than 4 million square feet and manage more than 600 employees, who serve more than 125,000 meals daily. Working in accordance with CPS and Aramark, we focus on providing healthy, nutritious food options in safe and clean facilities. HPH’s continuous work on menu development, nutrition education, safety procedures, employee oversight and building operations helps fuel learning and development in kids.

Community/Supplier Relations

 

Whether providing strategic advice on a new business pursuit, building invaluable relations with business and community officials or providing input on how to meet Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier diversity goals, Hyde Park Hospitality can work with clients on turning their vision into an efficient and productive reality.

Today, we single-handedly lead and coordinate the community engagement strategy for Chicago Public Schools/Aramark food and facilities services accounts.
This effort entails research, review and selection of community partners who can directly benefit from our outreach. Once a partner has been identified, we work to find common ground on various community initiatives as diverse as back-to-school picnics, painting community centers or delivering educational seminars on health and wellness. Over the course of a year we deploy a multitude of resources and disperse funds to an array of community partners.

Additionally, we serve as the liaison to 12 local supply partners, helping to foster relations and assist with the development of business strategies and overall revenue growth. We ensure that our partners are compliant with diversity agreements and program/percentages, and create annual forums to share ideas and best practices. Our commitment to building relations through open and honest dialogue has resulted in HPH surpassing our M/WBE goals by 25 percent.
